On the second night of this year's 26th Annual Cabaret Convention, Jeff Harnar and Andrea Marcovicci hosted A Sentimental Journey: World War II Songs, inspired by Marcovicci's memorable Oak Room at The Algonquin show, I'll Be Seeing You--Love Songs of World War II. (The CD is highly recommended.) As always with this pair's Convention contribution, the show was a treat in part because of its singular glamour. Much of our audience was exceptionally familiar with and nostalgic about these songs. A few had to be politely quieted for singing along, more than a few took each other's hands. It seems I've heard that song before . . . the co-hosts begin, warming the room.

If you like your humor like coffee-purists like their java--extremely black--then this show is for you.

This will be a sentimental journey down memory lane to celebrate the Glenn Miller Orchestra's 78th anniversary as part of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, with two shows in the Festival Theatre on Friday 19 June.

Dancer Freddie Huddlestone climbs the side of the Dominion Theatre stage then taps - upside down - across the ceiling and back down the other side of the stage at WEST END HEROES at the Dominion Theatre. The amazing routine, choreographed by Matt Flint, was the highlight of STEP IN TIME, a high-energy tap dance tribute by The West End Heroes Dancers, to Disney's Mary Poppins, which this year is celebrating 50 years since its release. Britain's Got Talent winners Collabro are today announced as the headline act at the 2014 West End Heroes gala concert at the Dominion Theatre on Sunday September 28. The chart-topping group - the fastest selling new British band of 2014 - will be perfoming a song from their No1 debut album Stars.

Veteran actor Jim Dale has a long history with Roundabout Theatre Company. Starting with one of Roundabout's earliest successes, A Day in the Death of Joe Egg, Jim Dale has performed in five Roundabout productions over the last 30 years. In his brand new solo show, Just Jim Daleunder the direction of Tony winner Richard Maltby, Jr. (Fosse, Ain't Misbehavin'), Dale shares his passion for the stage as he recounts a lifetime of irresistible showbiz tales. Today, July 2, the London Hilton hosted the O2 Silver Clef Awards 2010 in London, England. This is the 35th year of this annual charity award show that raises money for the Nordoff Robbins - a charity that helps the sick and disabled with music therapy. This year's host was Sharon Osbourne. BroadwayWorld brings coverage of the event below.
