Brad Oscar Leads Barrington Stage Company's FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, 6/13 - 7/14

Fiddler on the Roof, kicks off Barrington Stage Company's 2012 Mainstage Season for a five week run from June 13 through July 14. The award-winning regional theatre in downtown Pittsfield celebrates its 18th season in the Berkshires under the leadership of Julianne Boyd, Artistic Director, and Tristan Wilson, Managing Director. Directed and choreographed by Gary John La Rosa, with music direction by Darren R. Cohen, Fiddler on the Roof will have an official opening night on Sunday, June 17 at 5pm. (more...)

Dennis Grimaldi Productions (Nice Work If You Can Get It, Godspell, Angels in America) will present industry readings of the new musical fantasy, A Kiss From Alexander, Monday, May 21st at 1pm and 4pm at Shetler Studios, 244 W 54th St, #12 in Manhattan. Denis Jones (Legally Blonde, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Broadway Bares) is directing and choreographing. Book and Lyrics is by Broadway and theatre veteran, Stephan de Ghelder. The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities presents HAIRSPRAY, starring Jim J. Bullock. Known for his work on Broadway, Off-Broadway, LA Theater and Television, including the series Too Close for Comfort and The New Hollywood Squares, Jim previously performed the role of Wilbur Turnblad on Broadway. This time Jim takes the Arvada Center stage as the favorite 'Mother of the 50's forced into the 60's', Edna Turnblad. This fully staged regional production of Hairspray closes July 17, 2011. The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities has announced Jim J. Bullock will star in the upcoming production of Hairspray. Known for his work on Broadway, Off-Broadway, LA Theater and Television, including the series Too Close for Comfort and The New Hollywood Squares, Jim previously performed the role of Wilbur Turnblad on Broadway. This time Jim takes the Arvada Center stage as the favorite 'Mother of the 50's forced into the 60's', Edna Turnblad.
