The Tennessee Valley's best value in music entertainment returns this September as Huntsville's Big Spring Jam Music Festival marks its 17th anniversary. The event is scheduled for September 25th - 27th at Big Spring International Park in downtown Huntsville. Organizers have confirmed the first wave of performers among more than 45 musical acts scheduled to perform at Big Spring Jam XVII.

Frist Fridays, the Frist Center?s popular summer concert series, kicks off May 29, 2009 with special musical guest Danielle Peck performing live in the Turner Courtyard. Now in its seventh year, the series, which this year takes place the final Friday evening of each month May through July from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., is one of Nashville?s most popular summer traditions, attracting visitors of all ages from Middle Tennessee and beyond. Patrons can enjoy an evening of live music, light snacks and beverages as well as visit the diverse exhibitions on view in the Frist Center?s galleries. Frist Fridays takes place rain or shine.

Katie Holmes, Diane Weist, Brian Stokes Mitchell and Laurence Fishburne will be featured in the annual National Day Memorial Concert, broadcast live from the Nation's Capital. The special will air on PBS stations around the country May 24 beginning at 8 PM ET.

On Memorial Day weekend, PBS will unite our nation with an evening that has become an American tradition. The multi award-winning National Memorial Day Concert honors the service and sacrifice of our men and women in uniform, their families at home and all those who have given their lives for our country.

Comedian Rodney Carrington returns to the Hollywood Theater at MGM Grand July 30 - August 12. Carrington is scheduled to perform at 10 p.m. nightly.
