CELLBLOCK I & CELLBLOCK II Exhibitions Postponed at Andrea Rosen Gallery by BWW News Desk - Nov 02, 2012
Andrea Rosen Gallery will be postponing the opening of its Cellblock I & Cellblock II exhibition, curated by Robert Hobbs, that was scheduled to open on November 3rd. At this stage, the gallery is hopeful to be back open in approximately two-to-three weeks' time. The gallery will send an updated announcement as it learns more information. In the meantime, Andrea Rosen Gallery's thoughts and best wishes go out to all who have been affected by the storm. (more...)

The exhibitions open November 3, 2012 at the Gallery's main space at 525 West 24th Street, as well as inaugurating its new, second location, at 544 West 24th Street. (more...)

Hartford Stage Hosting Two Special Exhibits During DIVINE RIVALRY, 3/2-3/20 by BWW

Hartford Stage will celebrate the artistic partnership among director Michael Wilson, set designer Jeff Cowie, and sound designer John Gromada in Working with Michael, a multi-media exhibit in 'room,' Hartford Stage's new function space. At the same time, the theatre will unveil Part II of Capturing the Moment, a season-long retrospective of the work of company photographer T. Charles Ericson, commemorating his 25 years with Hartford Stage. The Ericson installation will be in the theatre's upper lobby. The exhibits coincide with the run of Divine Rivalry, a world premiere play by noted political journalist Michael Kramer, which is the last MainStage production Wilson will be directing as Hartford Stage Artistic Director. Cowie designed the sets for the production, and Gromada the sound and original music. Official opening of both exhibits is Wednesday, March 2 at 6:00 p.m., directly before the 7:30 performance of Divine Rivalry. (more...)
