The North American tour of ANASTASIA will be back for a second year on the road!

Watch the tale revolving around 'home, love, family' as Anastasia plays at the Marcus Center July 23-28.

Overture Center for the Arts is proud to present the Madison premiere of ANASTASIA in Overture Hall from Tuesday, July 30-Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019. The tour of the critically acclaimed Broadway production began performances in October 2018 at Proctors in Schenectady, NY before journeying to over 30 cities in its first year. Touring the country with ANASTASIA is Tari Kelly, a graduate from Madison's East High.

Jenna Russell, Olivier Award-winning star of stage and TV, is known for her roles in Les Miserables, Sunday in the Park with George and, most recently, Fun Home at the Old Vic. She is now playing the role of Francesca in the upcoming UK premiere of Jason Robert Brown's The Bridges of Madison County at the Menier Chocolate Factory.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, on Sunday, March 31, after 808 performances on Broadway, Anastasia will take its final journey to the past- a journey that has lasted for three years. Even before it started winning the hearts of audiences at the Broadhurst Theatre in 2017, the musical made its world premiere in a sold-out, record breaking run at Hartford Stage in Connecticut.

After two successful years on Broadway, the musical adaptation of the hit animated fil, ANASTASIA will play its final performance on Sunday, March 31, 2019.

The producers of Anastasia have announced that Cody Simpson has extended his engagement in the hit musical for eight additional weeks. Simpson made his Broadway debut as "Dmitry" on November 29, 2018 and will continue to star in the Broadway production through April 14, 2019.

Jason Robert Brown's landmark musical Songs for a New World (New York City Center 2018 Encores! Off-Center Cast Recording) is released today, Friday, January 25, in streaming and digital formats, in addition to a two-CD set. This is the show's first recording since the world premiere album over 20 years ago.
