Kandi Burruss, the Grammy Award-winning singer / songwriter, actress, entrepreneur, star of “the Real Housewives of Atlanta” on BRAVO, and producer of Thoughts of a Colored Man, alongside Todd Tucker, announced today that they will be joining the producing team for The Piano Lesson on Broadway.

Food Network and Cooking Channel get into the Halloween spirit with over 30 hours of thematic programming dedicated to the scariest and most delicious holiday of the year, featuring four new series and specials, four returning seasonal stunts, as well as specially-themed episodes in nine recurring series giving viewers even more Halloween frights and bites than last year. Featuring everything from expert pumpkin carvers to sugar artists to creative bakers, all with extraordinary skills and incredible imaginations, there is something for everyone this Halloween season. A cadre of stars get the action going, including Jonathan Bennett, Valerie Bertinelli, Duff Goldman, Carla Hall, John Henson, Clinton Kelly, Casey Webb and more. Food Network kicks the season off with the return of Halloween primetime staples Halloween Baking Championship on Monday, September 23rd at 9pm, Halloween Wars on Sunday, September 29th at 9pm, and Haunted Gingerbread Showdown on Sunday, October 6th at 10pm, along with the premiere of the all-new four-episode stunt, Halloween Cake-Off on Monday, September 23rd at 10pm. OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today the third season of its popular docu-series “Black Love” will premiere on Saturday, August 10 at 9:00 p.m. ETPT. The series, which celebrates love stories from the Black community, ranked number one last season in its Saturday night time slot across broadcast and cable with African American W25-54 and W18-49.

Ghostlight Theatricals in association with Rising Star Resort & Casino in Rising Sun, Indiana will present "A Christmas Story: The Musical," a professional dinner theatre production at the Grand Theatre at Rising Star Resort & Casino. Let the fright fest begin, as Halloween Wars returns with a new season, a new special, and exciting new series, dishing out tricks and treats and frightful delights. The all-new special, Road to Halloween Wars, kicks off the seasonal celebration on Sunday, October 1 st at 8pm ET/PT, as host Jonathan Bennett takes viewers behind the scenes of the journey leading up to the pumpkin carvers, cake and sugar artists that embark on the latest Halloween Wars competition. Year round, these gleefully ghoulish geniuses work to hone their craft, with dreams of Halloween Wars victory! Then Halloween Wars returns for a new season on Sunday, October 1 st at 9pm ET/PT, when Jonathan Bennett challenges six teams to create amazing and frighteningly fun Halloween-themed edible displays. Over five episodes the teams must battle it out, as their creations are judged by renowned cake decorator Shinmin Lee and horror film director and makeup effects master Todd Tucker, along with a rotating panel of celebrity guest judges, including Fiona Dourif (Child's Play franchise), Bryan Fuller (Executive Producer, American Gods), Juliet Landau (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgment Day), and Shane West (The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen). One team will be eliminated each episode, with the last team standing walking away with the $50,000 grand prize.
