The world premiere of The Great Immensity will take place at Kansas City Repertory Theatre's Copaken Stage, February 17-March 18. The Great Immensity is presented by Kansas City Rep and The Civilians, the center for investigative theatre led by Founding Artistic Director Steve Cosson.

On Thursday, Chaz Bono ('Dancing with the Stars') visited with the company of SOUTHERN COMFORT, the new hit musical about transgender friends in rural Georgia, at CAP21 (18 West 18th Street, 5th floor). Based on Kate Davis' award-winning documentary, the musical has recently been extended through November 5.

CAP 21 Theatre Company presents SOUTHERN COMFORT, a new musical by Dan Collins (book and lyrics) and Julianne Wick Davis (music), based on Kate Davis' 2001 Sundance award-winning documentary about transgender friends in rural Georgia. Jeffrey Kuhn and Todd Cerveris join previously announced Annette O'Toole and Jeff McCarthy, with official press opening tonight at the CAP21 Black Box Theater (18 West 18th Street) in Manhattan. Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the complete cast and creative team for Tracy Letts' award-winning play, August: Osage County. Directed by Obie Award winner Sam Gold, the dark comedy will run in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, May 7 - June 12. Preview performances run May 7 - May 11. Opening night is Thursday, May 12 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are currently available by subscription only.
