Photo Flash: Ali Rasul Becomes 33rd Boy to Play BILLY ELLIOT in West End by BWW News Desk - May 13, 2013
Today, 13 May 2013, 12 year old Ali Rasul from Hartlepool, will become the thirty-third boy to play Billy Elliot in the West End. Now in its ninth year at the Victoria Palace Theatre where the show is currently booking to 21 December 2013, Billy Elliot the Musical last month was awarded its fifth Laurence Olivier Award - the BBC Radio 2 Audience Award voted for by the theatregoing public. Hynes, Saunders Among Jury to Select BAFTA Emerging Comedy Screenwriters by TV News Desk - Apr 22, 2013

As part of its ongoing commitment to providing a place for original stories and characters that defy expectations, AMC made a number of announcements on the day of its Upfront. West End's BILLY ELLIOT Announces 4 Millionth Patron by BWW News Desk - Apr 12, 2013
Last night (11 April 2013), the West End production of Billy Elliot the Musical welcomed its 4 millionth patron to the Victoria Palace Theatre. At the end of the performance Sharon Hick from Yorkshire and her party were invited up on stage by Deka Walmsley who plays Billy's Dad. Killian Donnelly who plays Billy's brother Tony escorted them to the stage to great applause from the sell-out audience. (more...)

Anna-Jane Casey, Kevin Wathen and More Join West End's BILLY ELLIOT by BWW News Desk - Apr 12, 2013
From 13 May 2013 Anna-Jane Casey will join the West End cast of Billy Elliot the Musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre to play Billy's dance teacher Mrs Wilkinson. Also joining the cast are Kevin Wathen as Billy's brother, Tony, Howard Crossley as George and Alexander Loxton as Older Billy. They join current cast members Deka Walmsley who plays Billy's Dad, Kay Milbourne as Dead Mum. Simon Ray Harvey as Mr. Braithwaite and Ann Emery who created the role of Grandma on stage when the show premiered in 2005. Now in its eighth year the internationally award-winning Billy Elliot the Musical is currently booking at the Victoria Palace Theatre to 21 December 2013 and last night welcomed its 4 millionth patron at the Victoria Palace Theatre. Theatre503 Announces THE LIFE OF STUFF Cast by BWW News Desk - Mar 11, 2013
Theatre503's Artistic Director Paul Robinson has announced the cast for the venue's first Second Look production, Simon Donald's Evening Standard Award-winning play The Life of Stuff. Gregory Finnegan (Deceit at the Arcola and The Rat Trap at the Finborough) will play small-time crook Willie Dobie, Cameron Jack (South Pacific, Barbican) will play Arbogast and Ben Adams (Men Should Weep, National Theatre) will play Sneddon. The Life of Stuff runs at Theatre503, above the Latchmere Pub in Battersea between 10 April and 4 May. (more...)

Theatre503's THE LIFE OF STUFF Begins April 10 by BWW News Desk - Feb 12, 2013
Artistic Director Paul Robinson will direct Theatre503's first Second Look production, a revival of Simon Donald's Evening Standard Award-winning play The Life of Stuff. A perfectly preserved comic snapshot of Edinburgh's underworld, Simon Donald's play premiered at the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh before transferring the Donmar Warehouse in 1993. The Life of Stuff will run at Theatre503, above the Latchmere Pub in Battersea between 10 April and 4 May. (more...)

World Premiere of RABBITSKIN - Tour Dates Announced! by BWW News Desk - Jan 08, 2013
Milan Govedarica and Tullaroan Productions announce the national tour dates for the world première of Rabbitskin, which opens at Bradford Theatre in the Mill on Monday January 29 and closes at the Lowry Manchester on Friday March 1. The production is a new piece of writing by Dominic Grace. Rabbitskin was originally commissioned by West Yorkshire Playhouse and developed as part of WYP/Theatre in the Mill new writing season in 2012.
