Signature Theatre has announced casting is confirmed and tickets are now on sale for Angel Reapers, written by Residency Five playwright Martha Clarke and Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winner Alfred Uhry, directed and choreographed by Ms. Clarke. Angel Reapers runs February 2 to March 13, 2016 with a Monday, February 22 opening night in The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). All tickets for the initial run of the production are $25 as part of the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access. The Casting Society of America (CSA) has unveiled its feature film nominees for the 30th Annual Artios Awards. Final film ballots have been distributed and votes can be entered at http://www.castingsociety.com/, through Monday, January 12th. All winners for film, television, theater and new media categories will be announced at the 30th Annual Artios Awards on January 22, 2015 with award ceremonies to be held simultaneously at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles (reception will commence at 6:00 p.m. PDT) and at 42WEST (formerly XL Nightclub), Cabaret & Lounge (514 West 42nd Street) in New York (reception will commence at 6:00 p.m. EDT).

For the month of April, performers can submit their song or monologue videos on Stagelighter.com to a panel of six Broadway casting directors for free. Panelists will nominate videos into a final round which will be posted on Stagelighter's Facebook page and one performer chosen by the public will win round trip airfare to New York City, private meetings with each of the six casting directors, tickets to a Broadway show plus a backstage tour. Atlantic Theater Extends THE THREEPENNY OPERA by One Week Through May 11

Atlantic Theater Company has announced that the revival of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill's musical THE THREEPENNY OPERA has been extended an additional week, having sold out its first four weeks of preview performances. Directed and choreographed by Martha Clarke, the production opens Monday, April 7 and will now play through Sunday, May 11, 2014 off-Broadway at Atlantic Theater Company's main stage Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street).

Given each year, in addition to the awards presented to casting directors for their achievements in Theatre, Television, and Film casting, the CSA also gave out the following special awards to Casting Director Lora Kennedy for the Hoyt Bowers Award given for excellence in casting; Harvey Fierstein received The New York Apple Award given to individual for contributions to the New York casting community and Ben Affleck, who received the Career Achievement Award.

Sonnet Repertory Theatre celebrates a decade of producing classic theatre for the modern planet with a world-premiere adaptation of Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray, by Michael Raver, directed by Quin Gordon.
