Following its massive sell out success in 2009 Willy Russell's Our Day Out The Musical returns to the Royal Court Liverpool from 27 August - 9 October 2010, with press performances from 2 September. Matt Willis and Victoria Hamilton-Barritt will lead the cast in Flashdance The Musical, which opens in the West End at the Shaftesbury Theatre this autumn. Previewing from 24 September 2010 with Gala night on 14 October, Flashdance The Musical is currently booking until 26 February 2011. Press preview performances are Monday 11 October at 7.30pm, Tuesday 12 October at 7.30pm, Wednesday 13 October at 7.30pm and Thursday 14 October at 7pm, with reviews embargoed until Friday 15 October 2011.

Antony Sher will lead the cast in Arthur Miller's Broken Glass, directed at the Tricycle Theatre by Iqbal Khan. Broken Glass, designed by Mike Britton with lighting by Matthew Eagland runs from 30 September - 27 November, with press night on 6 October 2010. Further casting will be announced shortly.

Stage and screen star Imogen Stubbs is set to star in the upcoming UK tour of THE GLASS MENAGERIE by Tennessee Williams. The tour will begin in Salisbury with performances from March 4th through March 20th. The production will be directed by Polly Teate.

Blood Brothers, one of the West End's longest-running shows, has opened a new eight-month booking period and is now taking bookings through to 31 July 2010.

The winners in the ninth annual Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers' Choice Awards, the only major UK theatre prize-giving decided by the public, were announced today (Sunday 15 February) at a glittering, star-studded evening at the Prince of Wales Theatre.

Producer Laura Coker has announced an added performance for Blood Brothers, the Olivier Award-winning, Tony-nominated musical drama by Willy Russell on Sunday, November 23 at 8 pm.

What's on Stage is reporting that Niki Evans, a contestant on iTV's series 'X-Factor' will be playing Mrs. Johnson in West End production of Blood Brothers, running at the Pheoenix Theatre, starting November 3rd, 2008. The show recently extended its contract with the Pheonix where it has been running since 1991. Evans is expected to take on the role for six months.

A multi-ethnic cast highlights stinging themes of class and poverty when Whitefire artistic director Bryan Rasmussen directs Blood Brothers, the Olivier Award-winning, Tony-nominated musical drama by Willy Russell (Educating Rita, Shirley Valentine). The tragic musical tale opens at the Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks on October 18 for a six-week run through November 23.

Originally scheduled for one night only, Notes from New York?s fifth anniversary production of Jason Robert Brown?s The Last 5 Years will now play two additional performances due to phenomenal public demand. With the original performance on Sunday 12 October selling out in less than four weeks of going on sale, West End stars Julie Atherton and Paul Spicer will now share the stage at the prestigious Theatre Royal Haymarket for three nights in total on Sundays 12, 19 and 26 October 2008 in this much anticipated, brand new gala staging.
