Miami New Drama is proud to announce the cast for its season opener, One Night in Miami... a play with music that focuses on the night of February 25th, 1964, when a young Cassius Clay celebrated his victory over Sonny Liston with three of his closest friends - activist Malcolm X, singer Sam Cooke and football icon Jim Brown.

This Thanksgiving, MASTERCHEF JUNIOR gives fans something to be thankful for, when multi-Michelin star Chef Gordon Ramsay and award-winning chef Aarón Sánchez invite celebrities, their kids and some fan-favorite alumni into the MASTERCHEFJUNIOR kitchen, where they'll show off their culinary skills in exciting contests for charity on the all-new MASTERCHEF JUNIOR: CELEBRITY SHOWDOWN, airing Thanksgiving night, Thursday, Nov. 22 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX, immediately following NFL ON FOX, in which the Dallas Cowboys face the Washington Redskins.

Northlight Theatre, under the direction of Artistic Director BJ Jones and Executive Director Timothy J. Evans, continues its 2018-19 season with Mansfield Park, written by Kate Hamill, based on the novel by Jane Austen, and directed by Stuart Carden. Mansfield Park runs November 8 - December 16, 2018 at Northlight Theatre, 9501 Skokie Blvd in Skokie. The press opening is scheduled for Friday, November 16, 2018 at 8pm.

What happens when a group of talented Chicago musicians, actors, improvisers, stand-ups, songwriters, and DJs collaborate on a web series? You get "STUDIO B," the three-episode workplace comedy of a struggling Chicago recording studio trying to make a comeback along with supporting its bizarre clientele. STUDIO B can best be described as "30 Rock" meets Spinal Tap coupled with original music by composer Julie B. Nichols. Each episode follows a different musical act entering the studio to record what they hope will be their break-through hit, while the studio staff hopes it will keep them afloat. The first season of STUDIO B will be released Monday, Oct. 22 at 10 p.m. and will be available on www.studiobseries.com, as well as on Vimeo, YouTube, and Instagram TV. The creators of STUDIO B are hosting a public launch party the date of the release (Monday, Oct. 22 from 5 - 10 p.m.) at The Joinery, 2533 W. Homer Street in Logan Square, for fans and supporters to gather and watch the series. The screening will begin at 7 p.m. that night. In celebration of the fall returns of hit music dramas EMPIRE and STAR, Fox Broadcasting Company and parent company 21st Century Fox have teamed up with Turnaround Arts, a national program of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, for a new social campaign. As one of the marquee national education initiatives of the Kennedy Center, Turnaround Arts empowers struggling schools with innovative arts programs and arts-based learning across subject areas as a strategy to help address broader school challenges and close the opportunity gap.

The Tribeca TV Festival is bringing fans even more special moments with new additions to its 2018 line-up. The Festival will celebrate 10 years of Bravo's The Real Housewives of New York City with a one-time-only conversation for fans between Executive Producers Andy Cohen and Lisa Shannon along with cast members Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, and Tinsley Mortimer. The program will also expand with the 5th season premiere of FOX's Empire, followed by a conversation with star Jussie Smollett. The Tribeca TV Festival will take place September 20-23 at Spring Studios in New York City.

It looks like we'll be seeing stars next year as more Broadway names are added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. CBS LA has reported that the full list of entertainment industry professionals have been selected to receive their stars and were announced on Monday.

Summer unofficially began with the Hollywood Bowl ushering in its 2018 season during its Opening Night Concert featuring Diana Ross, Saturday, June 16, at 8 pm. The living legend with an impressive career spanning nearly six decades performed a unique set featuring her favorite and most memorable songs accompanied by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra (HBO), led by Principal Conductor Thomas Wilkins.

Grace Byers (EMPIRE) is set to join the cast of THE GIFTED on FOX. Byers will play REEVA, a smart, charming, authoritative, elegant, beautiful woman who is ruthless in her efforts to fight for her people. She leads an elite band of followers and has a soft spot for her new recruits, but is still capable of extreme violence in defense of her vision. Byers' character will team up with Polaris, Andy, and the Frost sisters in the 'inner circle'.
