Previous tour highlights this year include her once-in-a-lifetime “Echoes Through The Canyon” weekend as well as a series of stadium shows with P!NK. Looking ahead, Carlile’s “Girls Just Wanna Weekend” will return to Mexico in January featuring performances by Carlile, Janelle Monae, Sarah McLachlan, Lucius, Allison Russell and many more.

Modeled after Prine’s 1935 Wurlitzer Jukebox, it features the eight singles Prine released throughout his career on Oh Boy Records packaged in their original artwork as well as working lights that illuminate the jukebox, a booklet with a forward written by Jim Rooney, two “Handsome Johnny” jukebox coins, a vintage Oh Boy Records catalogue and more.

The lineup includes performances by Carlile, Janelle Monae, Sarah McLachlan, Lucius, Allison Russell, Celisse, KT Tunstall, Wendy & Lisa, corook, Monica Martin, Tish Melton, SistaStrings and SmallTown Strings as well as Mary Chapin Carpenter, Brandy Clark and Kim Richey guest starring as “Titans of Americana” for a special songwriters round. 

Hosted by Asleep At The Wheel frontman and Austin local Ray Benson, season two will feature legendary artists like Waylon Jennings, Ray Charles, Trisha Yearwood, Tanya Tucker, Toby Keith, Tammy Wynette, Wynonna Judd, Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Turnpike Troubadours, and others.

Brandi Carlile’s new rendition of Indigo Girls’ “Closer to Fine,” featuring her wife, Catherine Carlile, is out now and featured on the new version of the Barbie movie soundtrack: Barbie The Album (Best Weekend Ever Edition). Produced by Carlile, who plays guitar, piano, keys, banjo and moog on the track, “Closer To Fine.'

The official music video for 2x Grammy-winning entertainment legend and Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Tanya Tucker’s new song, “When the Rodeo is Over (Where Does the Cowboy Go?),” premiered yesterday via CMT, making its broadcast premiere on CMT, CMT Music, CMT Equal Play on PlutoTV and Paramount Times Square Billboards.

The fifth anniversary event includes a new host resort, Barceló, which will accommodate all attendees on one property. The closed campus “Brandi Land” at Barceló will provide additional opportunity for immersion as well as a bespoke custom concert venue, direct beach access, additional activations on-site and premium guest services.

Luke Combs welcomed Vince Gill for a performance of “One More Last Chance,” while Carly Pearce brought Jo Dee Messina to the stage for an exciting rendition of “I’m Alright.” Elle King and Tanya Tucker joined Lainey Wilson for an electric performance of “Texas (When I Die).” The roar of the crowd was deafening as Cody Johnson surprised fans.

Brandi Carlile has released her rendition of “Home” from The Wiz. The new song is the latest studio work from Carlile, whose recent producer projects include Shucked writer Brandy Clark’s new album. The Wiz is also set to make its return to Broadway in 2024 with an entirely reimagined revival. It was adapted into a film in 1978 starring Diana Ross.

City Parks Foundation has announced the 2023 season of Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage, New York City’s beloved outdoor performing arts festival, bringing 80 free and benefit shows to Central Park and 12 neighborhood parks across the five boroughs.
