The North American premiere of playwright Lucy Prebble's award-winning new play The Effect, with direction by David Cromer, will begin previews at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street at 7th Avenue) on Wednesday, March 2, with an official opening night set for Wednesday, March 16th. The cast for The Effect will feature Kati Brazda (Our Town), Susannah Flood (Tribes, Love and Information), Carter Hudson (The Substance of Fire), and Steve Key (August: Osage County). They conclude their 2013-14 season with the U.S. premiere of The Sonic Life of a Giant Tortoise: youth is not the only thing that's sonic, which reunites them with award-winning Japanese writer Toshiki Okada, director Dan Rothenberg (Pig Iron), and translator Aya Ogawa, following their collaboration on Okada's critically lauded Enjoy in 2010. The new production will run today, May 24 - June 29 at Jack in Brooklyn.

Nicola and Managing Director Jeremy Blocker have announced that due to rave reviews and strong ticket sales, Love and Information, written by Caryl Churchill and directed by James Macdonald, will extend for two weeks through Sunday, April 6 at the Minetta Lane Theatre, 18 Minetta Lane. Love and Information had been scheduled to run through Sunday, March 23, 2014. Love and Information is produced in association with London's Royal Court Theatre.
