Kudisch, Skinner, Reichard & More Set for 'Broadway Unplugged' at Town Hall, 11/16

It was announced today that Marc Kudisch (9 to 5, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Assassins, Thoroughly Modern Millie), Emily Skinner (Jekyll & Hyde, The Full Monty), Daniel Reichard (Jersey Boys), William Michals (Beauty & the Beast, South Pacific), Manu Narayan (Bombay Dreams), Lisa Howard (9 to 5, South Pacific, Spelling Bee), Sarah Jane McMahon, and Bill Daugherty will be among the more than fifteen Broadway stars that will be performing this year in the 6th Annual Broadway Unplugged Concert at The Town Hall on Monday, November 16th at 8 PM. Tony Yazbeck & Janet Metz Join Kudisch, Skinner, Reichard & More for 'Broadway Unplugged' at Town Hall, 11/16

More stars have been added to The Sixth Annual Broadway Unplugged concert at The Town Hall on Monday, November 16th at 8 PM. In addition to the previously announced Marc Kudisch, Emily Skinner, Daniel Reichard, Manu Narayan, Jill Paice, Jeffry Denman, William Michals, Lisa Howard, Bill Daugherty, and Sarah Jane McMahon, the cast of this unique concert that features the entire cast singing without microphones (the way it used to be done on Broadway) now also includes opera star John Easterlin, who won two Grammy Awards this year, as well as Nightlife Award winner David Colbert, and Broadway stars Tony Yazbeck and Janet Metz. The show's producer/writer/host, Scott Siegel has revealed that more star announcements are forthcoming. ( more...)

Broadway Goes Without Mics for the 5th Time in 'Broadway Unplugged' Nov. 17

The glorious experiment that began five years ago with a concert featuring great singers, singing great songs, but without microphones in a 1,500 seat theater, has blossomed into a annual celebration. The concert is attended every year by musical theater lovers who crave the sound of the pure human voice and the opportunity to hear great Broadway music the way it was originally performed, with nothing between the singer and the audience except the truth.
