Mary Testa To Star in Reading of EVERYONE COMES TO ELAINE'S

New York Theatre Barn will present a reading of Everyone Comes to Elaine’s, a new musical about iconic restaurateur Elaine Kaufman with Mary Testa (Oklahoma, The Gardens of Anuncia) in the title role. Directed by Tony nominee Jeff Calhoun (Newsies, Bonnie and Clyde, Big River), the reading will take place on December 16th, 2021 in New York City.

Steven D. Morris Named Executive Producer of Theatre Arlington

Theatre Arlington Board President, Dr. Aaron Reich, is thrilled to announce that Steven D. Morris has a new title. After a unanimous vote in their Tuesday, November 27th board meeting, Morris will be the permanent Executive Producer of Theatre Arlington, effective immediately. 'Steve has demonstrated tremendous leadership and artistic excellence during his 6 month tenure earning him the permanent top spot at the Theatre," says Reich. "His passion and energy have led to superior quality productions and a renewal of excitement about the Theatre for the staff, the acting community, the Board and Arlington in general.'
Steven Leigh Morris Receives La Drama Critics Circle Gordon Davidson Award

LA STAGE Alliance Executive Director Steven Leigh Morris will receive the Gordon Davidson Award for Distinguished Contribution to the Los Angeles Theatrical Community from the LA Drama Critics Circle. The 49th annual LADCC awards ceremony is set for Monday, March 19, at A Noise Within in Pasadena. Established by the LADCC in 2016, the Gordon Davidson Award is accompanied by an honorarium funded by Center Theatre Group. Morris will be the second recipient of the honor.
Steven Leigh Morris Named Executive Director at LA Stage Alliance

Steven Leigh Morris has been named Executive Director of LA STAGE Alliance, it was announced today by Brian Kite, LASA Board Chair. Morris succeeds longtime leader Terence McFarland, who left the post in April of this year. Morris's start date with the not-for-profit arts service organization will be announced shortly.
