National Sawdust has announced an open call for 20 new works to be commissioned by emerging composers residing or working in the US, as an expansion of its Live@NationalSawdust Digital Discovery Festival, which was launched in April 2020.

TBS Announces AMERICAN DAD! 15th Anniversary Marathon

Starting Tuesday, April 14, American Dad! is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a selection of episodes handpicked by the series' co-creator Matt Weitzman. The episodes will center on a different character each day, April 14-17 and April 21-24. Then, the 15th anniversary marathon will air Monday, April 27 with Weitzman's top 15 favorite episodes.

The New York Youth Symphony (NYYS) continues its 2019-2020 season with The McCrindle Concert, presented by the NYYS Orchestra on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 2pm, at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage, led by Music Director Michael Repper. The concert features 2019 Senior Division Sphinx Competition winner and cellist Sterling Elliott performing Dvořák's Cello Concerto in B Minor as well as the world premiere of First Music commission The Sycamore and the Oak by composer Tanner Porter, and Respighi's Pines of Rome.

New Village Arts announces its third annual New Play Festival, FINAL DRAFT, scheduled for January 10 - 12, 2020. This year's festival will feature plays by local playwrights Morgan Trant Kinally, Tom Steward, Roy Sekigahama, and Cynthia Ochoa. Selections were decided from an open submission pool of over 250 new plays and musicals and a five-person readership panel.

Comedian Steve Smith, better known as Red Green, from the beloved Gemini Award-winning comedy series The Red Green Show, has announced the addition of several new dates for his 'This Could Be It!' fall tour throughout Canada, with more shows to be announced. Kicking off September 19 in Grand Prairie, Alberta, Red Green embarks on his final journey throughout his homeland, with a coast-to-coast trek that will culminate on October 30th at the Georgian Theatre in Barrie, Ontario.

New York Youth Symphony (NYYS), is proud to continue its mission of educating and inspiring young musicians through its Orchestra, Jazz, Chamber Music, Composition, Musical Theater Composition, Apprenticeship Conducting, and First Music commissioning programs. This season includes seven world premieres of new works commissioned through the First Music program, composed for the Orchestra, Jazz, and Chamber Music ensembles.
