The Boston Symphony Orchestra has announced that Elvis Costello and The Imposters with Charlie Sexton as special guest have joined the lineup for the Popular Artists Series at Tanglewood. This will be the 2003 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee's first appearance at Tanglewood.

Boston Symphony Orchestra recently announced its 85th Tanglewood Summer Season, including the Popular Artist Series which kicks off on Thursday, June 22, 2023, with NPR’s oddly informative news quiz program Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me! This summer the concert series returns, bringing some of the most engaging artists in pop and rock to perform at Tanglewood with seating in the Koussevitzky Music Shed and on the surrounding lawn.

The Warner Theatre has announced that Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member RICKY BYRD (formerly of Joan Jett & The Blackhearts) will headline the next STUDIO SESSION @ NMST with support by Seth Adam, Saturday, April 8 at 8 pm in the Nancy Marine Studio Theatre.

The 85th Tanglewood season will offer audiences a wide range of programs and events that spotlight favorite guest artists and repertoire, while introducing dynamic new performers, conductors, and composers, with 48 artists in their Tanglewood or BSO debuts, and works by 28 living composers, including world premieres and five BSO commissions.

Folsom's Harris Center for the Arts has announced two exciting new shows for our 2022-2023 season. Legendary singer-songwriter Ray Stevens has been revealed as a 2022 inductee into the Musicians Hall of Fame. Stevens will enter on November 22 during a formal induction ceremony at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium. He'll be inducted alongside Vince Gill, Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, Don McClean, engineer George Massenburg and producer Jim Guercio. 

The Monmouth Community Players (MCP) have announced their third annual socially distanced Fall production, titled Tales From Monmouth, Maine. The script for the show is adapted from “Beneath This Ground”  by Dr. Larry Buggie, with original monologues written by MCP board member Jane Mitchell.

MUSE/IQUE continues its adventurous yearlong concert series, L.A. Composed: A Festival of Los Angeles Music, with Grand Avenue led by Artistic Director Rachael Worby and featuring the returns of Savion Glover, named by Dance Spirit magazine as one of the 13 Best Tap Dancers in History, and Charles Yang, recipient of the 2018 Leonard Bernstein Award and described by The Boston Globe as one who 'plays classical violin with the charisma of a rock star.'

Catherine Russell has a full schedule of performances slated throughout the East Coast and in Europe to finish off the year. Among them include her annual four-night residency at Dizzy’s Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center from September 29 through October 2, with two shows nightly.

New York Festival of Song (NYFOS), led by Artistic Director Steven Blier, opens its 2022-23 Mainstage Series with HEROES on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 8:00pm at Merkin Hall, co-presented by Kaufman Music Center.

Jazz at Lincoln Center announced the organization’s 35th season of concerts featuring JALC’s customary mix of American-premiere commissions and exclusive collaborations by iconic guest artists from across the globe, as well as celebrations of milestones and major figures in jazz and its related genres.

BOWERY, the compelling feature film documentary by filmmakers Mike Mintz & Irad Straus will have its World Premiere screening, on Saturday June 12th at 8:00 pm as part of Tribeca At Home. BOWERY will be available to stream until the end of the festival.

Formed in 2007, The Boxmasters have recorded an impressive and diverse catalogue of music that touches on their love of a wide array of influences, but most importantly, the rock and roll of the 1960's.
