Peter Frampton Finale, The Farewell Tour Presented By SiriusXM Confirmed

Legendary guitarist Peter Frampton has confirmed Peter Frampton Finale—The Farewell Tour presented by SiriusXM. The primarily U.S. tour, produced by Live Nation, will begin on June 18 in Tulsa, OK and continue throughout the summer and fall. The tour will feature special guest Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Evening, as well as Julian Frampton on the west coast stops, with additional surprise guests to appear on select dates.

In 2018, the legendary Steve Miller Band's Complete Albums Volume 1 (1968-1976) debuted as an unprecedented and acclaimed 9LP vinyl box set, individual 180-gram black vinyl LPs and color vinyl LPs, and HD digital audio. Today, Steve Miller and Capitol/UMe are incredibly excited to announce plans for the May 24 global release of the collection's second volume, presenting nine more Steve Miller Band studio albums in a new 180-gram vinyl box set called Complete Albums Volume 2 (1977-2011). Spanning the band's multi-platinum 10th studio album, 1977's Book of Dreams, through 2011's Let Your Hair Down, the albums have all been remastered and are available now for preorder. Each album is also available for preorder as individual 180-gram black LPs to be released on the same date, as well as limited edition 180-gram color vinyl LPs for sale exclusively via uDiscoverMusic.

Long before he rose to fame in 1996's "Sling Blade," Thornton had a passion for music, playing in numerous bands and even working as a roadie before starting his own band, The Boxmasters. Playing what they refer to as "psychobilly"- a combination of '60s hillbilly music and British invasion rock- The Boxmasters have established a cult following and will kick off their latest "Speck Tour" on July 6th at the Lincoln Theater in Yountville, CA.

Opera Orlando will hold its third annual gala celebration-Una Serenata Italiana! (An Italian Serenade!)-in honor of company founders Kathy and Steve Miller on the evening of Friday, April 20. The setting will be the award-winning Alfond Inn at Rollins College in Winter Park, and the evening will include opera performances from a quintet of nationally renowned soloists accompanied by pianist Robin Stamper, special tributes to the honorees, and a silent auction. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served at 6:30 p.m., followed by a formal dinner at 7:30 p.m. The Orlando Sentinel's "Taking Names" columnist, Scott Maxwell, will host the gala.

Steve Miller has confirmed the dates for the Steve Miller Band's 2018 North American summer tour. Last summer's sold-out tour with Peter Frampton has been extended for another 40 dates into 2018. A much-loved summer tradition, the iconic Steve Miller Band has been performing inspired versions of Miller's incomparable songbook to legions of fans across the globe for 50 years.  This year, Miller aficionados will be regaled not only with powerful sets from both the SMB and Frampton's band, but also by the highlight of Miller bringing Frampton onstage midset to create some of the most compelling jamming of the season. The Steve Miller Band will also be closing out the final day of New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival this year on Sunday, May 6.
