MTAP-Musical Theatre Artists of Pittsburgh announces its second edition of Hot Metal Musicals, a showcase of members' work. With the assistance of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and extensive cooperation and support from the Pittsburgh CLO, Hot Metal Musicals will be presented on Monday, July 17, 2017, at 7:15 pm at the Cabaret Theater at Theater Square, 655 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA, 15222.

The Belmont Theatre (formerly York Little Theatre) is set to produce the gothic musical thriller Jekyll & Hyde February 17-19 and 23-26 . The show tells the story of two men - one a doctor, passionate and romantic - the other, a terrifying madman; and two women - one, beautiful and trusting -the other, beautiful and trusting only herself. Both women are in love with the same man, and both are unaware of his dark secret. The story unfolds in gripping fashion with unforgettable songs like 'Someone Like You' and 'A New Life.'

Throughout all of human history, there has been something sexy and intoxicating about the fine line between good and evil; the dangerous desire to understand it, to conquer it, to control it. The Greater Orlando Actors' Theatre production of the musical JEKYLL & HYDE, running through Sunday, September 25th at the home of Central Florida Community Arts, ably captures the alluring sexuality of this temptation, but is never able to realize the innate danger that accompanies it.

Church bells tolled as the sound of horse hooves on cobblestone echoed to set the stage at Onstage in Bedford this weekend for the opening of Jekyll & Hyde. A twist on the classic tale of one man's struggle to conquer his inner demons, this musical version of Robert Louis Stevenson's 1886 tale was adapted for the stage by Steve Cuden and Frank Wildhorn. Over the past century there have been innumerable adaptations of the original novella, including over 120 versions written for stage and film. The actors and production team of Onstage continued this time honored tradition this weekend to sold out audiences.
