On Monday, January 14th at 9:30 three Wicked alumni will present Glitter and Be Green, an intimate cabaret at the Laurie Beechman Theater. The evening, starring Stefanie Brown, Lesley McKinnell, and Stephanie Torns, will feature plenty of trios, medleys and mash-ups, including many Stephen Schwartz tunes, musical theater classics, Disney favorites, and fun pop tunes. On Today, November 13th at 10PM over a dozen of Broadway's brightest stars will join together in song to benefit the Friends of Marybeth and Cohort 3 helping aid victims of Hurricane Sandy in Staten Island and other affected areas in NYC. Performers will include Corey Cott (Newsies), Will Blum (The Book of Mormon, Grease), Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia), Lora Lee Gayer (Follies), Kara Lindsay (Newsies), Sara Jean Ford (The Phantom of the Opera), Steffanie Leigh (Mary Poppins), Drew Gehling (Jersey Boys, On A Clear Day), Taylor Louderman (Bring It On), Jason Gotay (Bring It On), Robert Lenzi (South Pacific), Tess Soltau (Into the Woods, The Addams Family), Russell Fischer (Jersey Boys), Jenna Leigh Green (Wicked, 'Sabrina, The Teenage Witch'), Jessica Waxman (Pure Country), Stephanie Thorns (Wicked), Lesley McKinnell (Wicked), and Stefanie Brown (Wicked). Back by 'Popular' demand, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, WICKED returned to its Los Angeles home, the Pantages Theatre, for a strictly-limited engagement this holiday season running through January 29, 2012. When it first played the Pantages in 2005, it broke box office records and sold out in record time. WICKED returned two years later to begin an extended engagement that would go on to run two years, becoming one of the longest-running Broadway musicals in L.A. history.
