The production is presented by special permission of Samuel French Ltd for the Ivor Novello Trustees. Directed and choreographed by Stewart Nicholls, the show features book adapted by Richard Stirling, musical supervisor Ross Leadbeater, original musical direction by Ben Stock and stars Sophie-Louise Dann, Helena Blackman, Josh Little and Elizabeth Seal. OLIVIERS 2012: Full List Of Nominations! MATILDA Leads with 10! by BWW Special Coverage - Mar 15, 2012
Matilda the Musical, produced by the RSC and running at the Cambridge Theatre, leads the way with ten nominations - the maximum number of eligible awards for a musical this year. These notably include a collective nomination for Best Actress for all four young actresses who play the title role. Amongst other musical theatre productions Ghost The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre and the National Theatre's London Road have five and four nominations respectively.

The brand-new West End production of LEND ME A TENOR is directed by Olivier award-winning director Ian Talbot (High Society, Anything Goes) and choreographed by Tony-nominated choreographer Randy Skinner (42nd Street, White Christmas). The production is designed by Paul Farnsworth, with lighting by Tim Mitchell, and sound by Terry Jardine and Nick Lidster. Following a critically acclaimed run at the Theatre Royal Plymouth in 2010, LEND ME A TENOR THE MUSICAL, the uproarious new musical comedy by Peter Sham (book and lyrics) and Brad Carroll (music), will open at the Gielgud Theatre on 15 June, with previews from 2 June.
