Michael Chabon Announced as Showrunner of STAR TREK: PICARD

Pulitzer Prize-winning author Michael Chabon has been named Showrunner of the upcoming STAR TREK: PICARD series. Chabon is working closely on the day-to-day production of the series with Academy Award winner and veteran 'Star Trek' writer and producer Akiva Goldsman, and Alex Kurtzman, who continues to oversee the expansion of the growing 'Star Trek' universe for CBS Studios.

CBS All Access today announced production has officially begun in Albuquerque, N.M., on INTERROGATION, the service's new true-crime series where the viewer becomes the detective. The series' first nine episodes will be available to binge in any order with each episode structured around an interrogation. This multi-linear approach will give viewers the opportunity to follow their instincts and develop their own interpretations of the facts of the case and ultimately decide innocence or guilt. The shocking season finale will be released at a later date.

CBS All Access, CBS' digital subscription video on-demand and live streaming service, today announced a new 10-episode order for the original limited event series THE STAND, based on Stephen King's bestselling novel of the same name. The series will be produced by CBS Television Studios. Josh Boone and Ben Cavell will write and executive produce THE STAND. Josh Boone will also direct. Roy Lee, Jimmy Miller and Richard P. Rubinstein will also serve as executive producers with Will Weiske and Miri Yoon as co-executive producers and Owen King as producer.
