The Talking Band presents the world-premiere production of OBSKENE -- a new play comprised of messenger speeches from classical Greek Tragedy and reports from the near future created by 8 playwrights including David Greenspan, Tina Shepard, Marcus Gardley and Deb Margolin -- with an official press opening set for Thursday, Nov. 8 at HERE (145 Ave. of the Americas, one block south of Spring). Outage Forces Cancellation of OBSKENE's First Preview at HERE, 11/1

The Obie Award-winning The Talking Band has announced that power outages downtown will force the cancellation of 1st preview performance of the new play OBSKENE on Thursday, Nov. 1 at HERE, located at 145 Ave. of the Americas at Dominick St. Paul Zimet, artistic director of The Talking Band, said the company would decide on Nov. 1st whether or not they will be able to proceed with performances on Nov. 2 based on the availability of power in the Soho area.
