Broadway Bares, the unrivaled evening of sexy striptease that benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, will celebrate its 25th spectacular edition on Sunday, June 21, 2015, with Broadway Bares: Top Bottoms of Burlesque, a show inspired by the golden age of Broadway.

Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak will helm Kiss Me, Kate-his first musical since winning the 2014 Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical for A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder. A co-production with The Old Globe in San Diego, Kiss Me, Kate will play for only four weeks, from May 14-June 14.

Broadway actress Ali Ewoldt, who starred as the orphaned Cosette in the 2006 Broadway revival of 'Les Miserables' and as The Girl (Luisa) in the Off-Broadway production of 'The Fantasticks' last year, shared her journal entries, which recount her day at Music Theatre Wichita in Kansas, with CNN Money's Blake Ellis. Produced by Bill Coyne, the evening will benefit ZARA AINA, a charity that brings theater and education to at-risk youth In Madagascar; founded by actors Bryce Pinkham and Lucas Caleb Rooney.

The New York City Center Encores! production of Frank Loesser's The Most Happy Fella concluded its limited run last night, April 6. Starring Laura Benanti, Shuler Hensley, Cheyenne Jackson,Heidi Blickenstaff, Brian Cali, Bradley Dean, Zachary James, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Jessica Molaskey and Kevin Vortmann, The Most Happy Fella was directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw, with music direction by Rob Berman. Stageworks Media will present an industry reading of Cyrano de Burger Shack, A New High School Musical written by award-winning playwright Jeremy Desmon and directed by Jeremy Dobrish, which will take place on Friday, February 7th at 1:00 pm at 54Below (254 West 54th Street, NYC). Featured in the cast of Cyrano de Burger Shack are F. Michael Haynie (Wicked) as Cyrano, Julia Mattison (Godspell) as Roxanne, and Michael Campayno (Sound of Music Live) as Christian, as well as Ashley Kate Adams (La Cage aux Folles), Trista Dollison (Avenue Q), Rebecca LaChance (Beautiful), Ellyn Marie Marsh (Kinky Boots), Shina Ann Morris (Cinderella), Jeremy Morse (Papermill's Oliver!), and Alex Wyse (Lysistrata Jones). The music director /arranger is Meg Zervoulis.

Mulit-platinum recording artist Carly Rae Jepsen and beloved film and television star Fran Drescher will make their Broadway debuts in Rodgers and Hammerstein's CINDERELLA on February 4. Jepsen will play the title character and Drescher will play her wicked stepmother, Madame. Beginning its second year on Broadway, CINDERELLA plays the Broadway Theater (1681 Broadway at 53rd Street). For their final episode of 2013, The Ensemblist put out a call through social media for listeners to submit their own questions. Fans submitted questions through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and at theensemblist.com. The result is this supersized, action-packed episode featuring interviews with Broadway actors Lauren Molina, Shina Ann Morris, Chelsea Packard, Andy Richardson, Nic Rouleau, Alena Watters and Ryan Worsing.
