The Maltz Jupiter Theatre brought home eight awards at the April 2 ceremony for the 36th annual Carbonell Awards, South Florida’s equivalent of the Tony Awards®. With a ceremony held at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, the Theatre garnered the most awards of any of the South Florida nominees, surpassing winning theaters in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Counties. By show, the Theatre earned five awards for Crazy For You (including best musical), one for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and one for The Sound of Music. (more...)

Singer/songwriter Katie Thompson will be celebrating the release of her third album, ‘Private Page' at the Triad on March 4th, 2011 at 7pm. The concert will be produced by Jill Johnson and Shea Sullivan and will feature songs from the highly anticipated album. Tickets can be purchased now at www.triadnyc.com.
