The first live standings have been announced for the 2022 BroadwayWorld Berkshires Awards! Nominations were reader-submitted and now our readers get to vote for their favorites.

​​​​​​​ At an SRO ceremony held at Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsfield, the Board of the Berkshire Theatre Critics Association (BTCA) presented the Berkshire Theatre Awards on the evening of Monday, November 14, 2022. This was the fifth time the awards have been presented to honor and celebrate the excellence and diversity of theatre in the greater Berkshire region.

This December, Shakespeare & Company returns to the lively world of Jane Austen-inspired theater with a costumed, staged reading of Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley, written by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon, and directed by Ariel Bock.

Shakespeare & Company will offer Clowning for Actors, An Exploration of Glorious Failures and Epic Imbalances, November 11 through 13 in New York, N.Y.

Playwright Danny Robins’ 2:22 – A Ghost Story will have its U.S. premiere November 4, 2022 (with previews starting October 29th) at the Center Theater Group’s Ahmanson. Matthew Dunster directs the cast of four: Constance Wu, Anna Camp, Adam Rothenberg, and Finn Wittrock.  I persuaded  Finn to chat about 2:22, as well as reminisce on some of his career highlights.

WAM Theatre will present Cadillac Crew by Tori Sampson (If Pretty Hurts Ugly Must be a Muhf**ka, Playwrights Horizons; This Land Was Made), directed by taneisha duggan (Jesus Hopped the “A” Train, University of Hartford; Blue Door, Juilliard), featuring returning WAM actors Cate Alston, MaConnia Chesser,  and Alicia M.P. Nelson; and debuting Kyra Davis on the WAM stage.
