Justin Timberlake's THE 20/20 EXPERIENCE managed to reclaim the top spot on iTunes' album chart this week, but classic rockers such as Pete Seeger and Tom Petty enjoyed a resurgence, thanks to recently discounted prices. Daft Punk's RANDOM ACCESS MEMORIES, which was the best selling album last week, fell to the fourth spot. Robin Thicke's BLURRED LINES with T.J. and Pharell was the top selling single of the week. Disney Launches Casting Search in Southern California for Upcoming Series & Movies

Casting directors for series and movies for the kid- and family-targeted channels Disney Channel and Disney XD have begun a talent search throughout the greater Southern California area, visiting elementary, middle and high schools, performing arts schools and academies, dance studios and after school programs in search of new talent age 10-17. Led by casting directors Rosalinda Morales ('Bread and Roses,' 'La Misma Luna' aka 'Under The Same Moon') and Pauline O'con ('24'), the search is part of Disney Channel's and Disney XD's ongoing initiative to find, cast and develop diverse young actors, singers and dancers and provide them opportunities to showcase their talent across Disney platforms. The Recording Industry Association of America Adds Digital Streaming to Gold & Platinum Standards

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) today announced the integration of streams to its historic Gold & Platinum (G&P) Program, the industry's premier award for recognizing artistic achievement in the marketplace. On-demand audio and/or video song streams will now be counted towards the 500,000 (Gold), 1,000,000 (Platinum) and 2,000,000 plus (multi-Platinum) thresholds required for G&P's Digital Single Award certification.
