Main Street Theatre Works (MSTW) kicks off its 2016 Summer Season at the Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre in Jackson, with The Explorers Club, by Nell Benjamin. The Explorers Club is a comedic look at Victorian adventurers who ponder the mysteries of science and nature, while genteelly getting blotto. What better opportunity for you to pack a picnic dinner, your favorite beverage and take in all the crazy adventures of these infamous explorers. The Explorers Club runs every Today and Saturday, June 24th - July 23rd. Doors open at 6:30 for picnics; show starts at 8:00. Sing for Hope will celebrate the fifth anniversary of its legendary community arts program, The Sing for Hope Pianos, with a public unveiling of all 50 pianos on June 6(th) at 28 Liberty Plaza in New York City. The event will feature Tony Award-winning actress Lea Salonga, Tony Award- and Drama Desk-nominee Daphne Rubin-Vega, former Late Night with David Letterman bandleader Paul Shaffer, the dynamic Anderson & Roe Piano Duo, cast members from On Site Opera's acclaimed Figaro Trilogy, saxophonist/composer Ted Nash, singer/songwriter Pete Muller, and other stars of the New York music scene, along with student musicians from Sing for Hope's programs.

Disney Theatrical Productions has announced that Aladdin will launch its North American tour in Chicago. The 12-week engagement begins performances at Broadway in Chicago's Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60601) on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 and plays through Sunday, July 2. Future engagements and casting information will be announced in the coming months. Definitely one of this current millennium's funniest stage shows, the world-famous Hollywood Bowl certainly chose wisely in its decision to stage the hit musical comedy Monty Python's SPAMALOT as this year's all-star annual summer stage musical spectacular, which was welcomed with plenty of sustained, hearty laughter and a well-deserved standing ovation during its opening night performance on Friday evening, July 31st. The nearly 18,000-seat venue's truncated, yet still enormously entertaining re-staging of the 2005 Tony Award winner for Best Musical continues with two additional weekend performances, August 1-2.

Hollywood Bowl succeeds again with their most entertaining, head-shakingly pun-ny, visually stimulating production of Monty Python's Spamalot. Director BT McNicholl keeps his talented cast soft-shoe-ing, high kicking, horse-riding, sword lifting and just laugh-inducing at a steady, 'can't catch my breath from laughing' pace.

The much anticipated 2005 Tony Award-winning Best Musical - Monty Python's Spamalot - has finally arrived and is in rehearsal in Los Angeles for its July 31 - August 2, 2015 run at the historic Hollywood Bowl; and BroadwayWorld TV's own Michael Sterling was on hand to talk to the cast.
