Today, July 9, 2014 Westchester Broadway Theatre will celebrate its 40th Anniversary. The Theatre has a history of 184 main-stage productions and nearly a thousand Monday/Tuesday special events and concerts. WBT's objective with this world-class venue is to always provide its audiences, which come from far and wide, with the highest production values and most memorable entertainment and dining experiences.

Westchester Broadway Theatre presents its 40th anniversary production of Disney's and Cameron Mackintosh's MARY POPPINS, a musical based on the stories of P. L. Travers and the Walt Disney Film, featuring original music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman, book by Julian Fellowes, new songs and additional music and lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, co-created by Cameron Mackintosh. Prospect Theater Company, one of America's leading producers of new musical theater, will kick off its 2012-2013 season with a one-night-only concert presentation of The Rockae, a hard rock musical based on Euripides' The Bacchae featuring music and lyrics by Kleban and Fred Ebb, Award-winning writer Peter Mills, and a book by Mills and Cara Reichel (Illyria, Golden Boy of the Blue Ridge, upcoming Death For Five Voices). The performance will take place at New York's Le Poisson Rouge tonight, October 7th.
