According to Deadline, the future of Discovery Channel's Mount Everest Jump is in question after the terrible avalanche that so far has claimed the lives of 13 people. NBC News, which was producing the event said in a release on Friday, that 'the future of the production will be assessed at the appropriate time.'

According to Variety, Lara Spencer, who previously served as the newsreader on ABC's GOOD MORNING AMERICA has been promoted to anchor. With the recent departure of Josh Elliot, Spencer will stand along co-hosts Robin Roberts and George Stephanopolos.

According to Variety, Josh Elliot is leaving ABC's Good Morning America, where he has been working since 2011. Instead, he will be working for NBC Sports. Amy Robach will be replacing Elliot.
