92Y shines the spotlight on the world of musical theater dance in Broadway Takes Two, featuring some of the best of a new generation of theater choreographers. Broadway Takes Two includes the work of Justin Boccitto (curator and director), Megan Doyle, Ryan Kasprzak, Jeff Shade and Richard J. Hinds, with performances on April 8, 9 and 10. Each choreographer presents numbers featuring their original choreography — paying homage to such legends as Bob Fosse, Jerome Robbins and Michael Bennett — performed by some of the finest dancers working in New York.

? North Carolina Stage Company (NC Stage) continues its recent development of world premiere productions. After playing a vital role in the development of Stalking the Bogeyman before its Off-Broadway and West End runs and Someone Else, currently slated for an off-Broadway run this spring, NC Stage announces the world premiere of the brand new musical Brave New World. This will consequently change the originally slated production of Bad Dates.

The Public Theater presents the new musical Southern Comfort, the true story of a group of transgender friends living life on their own terms in the back hills of rural Georgia,  directed by Thomas Caruso and based on the film by Kate Davis. Southern Comfort features book and lyrics by Dan Collins, music by Julianne Wick Davis, choreography by Ryan Kasprzak, and was conceived for the stage by Robert DuSold and Thomas Caruso. Transcendence Theatre Company, producer of the Broadway Under the Stars in Jack London State Historic Park concert series, announced the company of artists who will appear during the 2015 series of shows running tonight, June 19 through September 13. From June through September on select weekends, visitors to Sonoma County can conclude a day of wine tasting by attending Broadway Under the Stars, the main stage musical concert series presented by Transcendence Theatre Company in the open-air Winery Ruins of Jack London State Historic Park.
