Theatreworks USA hosted its 50th Anniversary Celebration gala last night, February 12, 2012 at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. Broadway legend and Tony Award winner Elaine Stritch appeared as the Special Guest Performer for the gala, which also featured appearances from Special Guest Presenters Kathleen Chalfant, Nathan Lane and Sara Ramirez. The Lost Treasures Collection, a series of rarely performed musical gems, continues its second season at Lakewood Theatre Company with the musical, Minnie's Boys. This show, the second in a series of musicals featuring movie themes, is presented in a concert/cabaret style. Minnie's Boys will be performed for two nights only, Friday, January 6 and Saturday, January 7, 2012 on Lakewood's Side Door stage. The title sponsor for the series is Banner Bank. (more...)

ALKY is a real teen drinking drama workshopped in Christian schools in the 80s in Texas and we perform it with twistedly funny adults who are 'under the influence'. Come see Ms. O'Hara and the Marumsco Valley Players perform Jerome McDonough's hard-hitting teen drama, ALKY, while they try to hold their liquor. (more...)
