Rosie Benton to Star in Women's Project's ROW AFTER ROW, Begin. 1/15

Rosie Benton (Stick Fly, Accent on Youth), Erik Lochtefeld, and P.J. Sosko will play three Civil War re-enactors in the world premiere of Jessica Dickey's dark comedy, Row After Row, directed by Daniella Topol, Women's Project Theater's Producing Artistic Director Julie Crosby announced. Row After Row, which marks the 36th season of Women's Project Theater, begins previews January 15 for an opening January 23 at Women's Project Theater's home, New York City Center Stage II, 131 West 55th Street.

HBO to Adapt Lydia Diamond's STICK FLY for Small Screen

According to The Hollywood Reporter, HBO is adapting the Broadway play Stick Fly by Lydia Diamond, who will also write the script for the hourlong TV drama and executive produce with former collaborators Alicia Keys and Nelle Nugent.

George Street Playhouse and Artistic Director David Saint have announced that full casting for their 2012-13 season opener, One Slight Hitch, has been completed. Joining the previously-announced Mark Linn-Baker will be Clea Alsip, Rosie Benton, Lauren Ashley Carter, Scott Drummond, Lizbeth Mackay and Christopher Tocco. Helmed by Joe Grifasi, this tale of matrimonial mayhem will begin performances tonight, October 2 and continue through Sunday, October 28. Opening night, with a dessert reception sponsored by Stage Left and Catherine Lombardi restaurants, will be Friday, October 5.
