Ron Jones is a legend of Houston Theater. He's an actor, he's a director, he's a producer and a fashion icon (the man dresses to impress!). Ron helps run his own theater company, On The Verge and often directs in other places. And we're here today to discuss the upcoming APPROPRIATE, produced by the DIRT DOGS at the MATCH venue.

On May 17th, Nashville-based, platinum recording artist, Ron Pope, released a new single, “I’ve Gotta Change (Or I’m Gonna Die),” via Brooklyn Basement Records. Several years ago, Pope sustained a serious back injury. Unable to work but wary of prescribed pain medication, he chose to white-knuckle his way through the ordeal, relying on other ways to manage the pain. His new song is inspired by that experience. The Paley Center for Media has the esteemed list of honorees for its 2024 Paley Honors. This annual New York gala celebration will salute visionary leaders from across media, entertainment, and business including Michael R. Bloomberg, Ron Howard, and Faiza J. Saeed. This illustrious event will take place on Thursday, June 13 at 6:30 pm at Cipriani 42nd Street.
