The Drama League Will Open The Drama League Theater Center, 5/23

The Drama League (Executive Director, Gabriel Shanks; Artistic Director, Roger T. Danforth) will officially dedicate its new home, The Drama League Theater Center (32 Avenue of the Americas), a new, state-of-the-art facility located on the lobby level of the historic former AT&T Building, in the heart of TriBeCa's arts district. Featuring over 100 annual public performances, workshops, classes, and more, The Drama League Theater Center and its programs bring together world-class theater artists, emerging talents, and New York theatergoers all under one roof, serving an estimated 15,000 artists and audience members each year. Drama League Adds 'Resident Artists Program' to 2013 Directors Project; Application Deadline Today

The Drama League previously announced that a new new initiative, the Resident Artist Program, will be added to The 2013 Drama League Directors Project series of program offerings. Now in its 30th year, The Drama League's career development program will feature seven (7) initiatives that include The New York Directing Program, The Hangar Summer Residency, New Directors/New Works, The Classical Fellowship for Directors of Color, The Musical Theatre Directing Fellowship, and The U.S./Bulgaria Stage Directors Exchange.
