Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced the 24th Bay Street Annual Summer Gala which will take place in Sag Harbor at the Long Wharf on July 11, 2015 to benefit Bay Street's educational and theatrical programs.

The League of American Orchestras' National Conference will offer fresh perspectives from thought leaders on the many ways orchestras are adapting during this era of rapid change. Hosted by the Seattle Symphony, the Conference takes place today, June 4-6, 2014 in Seattle, with pre-Conference seminars on June 2-4 as well as musical performances, events, and sessions presented by industry experts and beyond. Nearly 1,000 professionals and volunteers from across the orchestra field are expected to attend.

JetBlue Airways (NASDAQ: JBLU), New York's Hometown Airline, today announces its seventh annual "One Thing That's Green" (OTTG) campaign. This year's initiative will bring a little greenery to the scenery of several BlueCities. Customers and crewmembers throughout JetBlue's network are encouraged to vote to spruce up their local communities with green spaces. JetBlue is continuing its long-standing partnership with New York Restoration Project (NYRP) and the MillionTreesNYC initiative for a tree-planting event in New York. The airline will also align with Charles River Watershed Association, Seventh Generation and Bobble to clean up Boston's Charles River.

Actor and Bay Street Board Member, Richard Kind, who most recently won the DRAMA DESK AWARD for his role on Broadway's THE BIG KNIFE, will be the evening's celebrity auctioneer. Board member Joy Behar also plans on attending, with a host of other surprise celebrities

Bay Street Theatre held its Second Annual Honors Benefit on Saturday, April 27 at East Hampton Point, hosted by funny-lady and Bay Street Thatre Board Member Joy Behar. This year the honorees were Hampton's Hometown Heroes including David Bray, Ana R. Daniel, Michael Grim and James Osburn. All four of the honorees support Bay Street as well as many other local businesses & non-profits in the Hampton's Community. The event is held Spring each year, not only to recognize outstanding patron involvement, but also to raise funds for its theatrical and educational programs. Bay Street Theatre showed the Hamptons a fantastic party last Saturday, July 21, 2012 at its annual Rock The Dock Summer Benefit Bash. The evening kicked off with a cocktail hour and silent auction, while guests arrived dressed to party on the Long Wharf in Sag Harbor. Special guests included Bay Street Board Members Chris Bauer (True Blood) and Broadway, film and television actress Mercedes Ruehl; Tony Award winner and star of the upcoming BIG MAYBELLE: SOUL OF THE BLUES Lillias White, and the show's writer and director Paul Levine, and more. Bay Street Theatre held its First Annual Honors Benefit last night with some of the biggest names of the stage and screen converging at the Manhattan Penthouse in New York City to honor Joy Behar, AdriAnne Cohen and John Downing, all members of Bay Street's Board of Trustees.
