Iconic family show The Snowman returns to Peacock Theatre for its 25th anniversary in the West End from Saturday 19 November - Saturday 31 December. The 25th Anniversary London Season is dedicated to creator of The Snowman, Raymond Briggs CBE 1934-2022.

The Fellowship Cultural Arts Center in Basking Ridge welcomes New Jersey Ballet to the stage for a Mixed Repertory featuring Pas de Deux by George Balanchine and Christopher Wheeldon. The show will run May 14 and 15 for an evening and matinee performance.

Returning for its 24th year and bringing its festive magic back to the Peacock Theatre is timeless tale The Snowman, based on the much-loved picture book by Raymond Briggs. Birmingham Repertory Theatre's Christmas treat returns from 20 November 2021 - 2 January 2022 following 2020's cancelled performances.

North Carolina Theatre, the region's premiere nonprofit professional regional theatre, has announced three new positions starting this spring, filled in preparation for live performance and the start of digital streaming in its 2021-22 season.  

BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that stage designer Peter Docherty has died at age 75.

From March 24th-29th, North Carolina Theatre will be presenting a production of Joe DiPietro & David Bryan's 2010 Tony-winning musical, Memphis, at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium. I recently had the great pleasure of interviewing Robert Hartwell, who will be directing and choreographing the production.

It wouldn't be Christmas without Birmingham Repertory Theatre's family favourite The Snowman, now in its 22nd consecutive year. This beloved dance adaptation of Raymond Briggs' tale returns to Sadler's Wells' Peacock Theatre this week as part of its UK tour. Martin Fenton talks to BroadwayWorld about taking on the all-important title role.

Things just got a lot better for Prog Music Fans – and fans of genuine classic bands with great players. Robert Berry has assembled a killer four-piece band set to begin playing this year. For those who appreciate the fine craftsmanship of YES, ELP, Keith Emerson, Genesis, Jethro Tull, etc... are in for a real treat. Berry is riding high with his latest release “3.2: The Rules Have Changed” written with Keyboardist Keith Emerson. Berry is well known for his Bass, Vocals and as a multi-instrumentalist who's written and toured with Carl Palmer, Steve Howe (Yes), GTR and Ambrosia to name a few. Rounding out the group are Drummer Jimmy Keegan (Spock's Beard), Guitarist Paul Keller (Emerson/Palmer), and Keyboardist Andrew Colyer (Circuline, Cell15, Awaken). Aside from all the heavy instrumental lifting, all four band members sing - a pleasant surprise in today's music world. The word has been spreading quickly, and already 3.2 will be headlining at this year's ProgStock Festival - an annual 3-Day Festival in Rahway, New Jersey this October 11-12-13. ProgStock is the gem of the Prog Music Festivals in the North East U.S. and continues to bring in more prestigious acts every year. The band will be touring North America this fall (tour dates below).

Robert Plant has announced a series of North American dates. The tour – which once again sees him accompanied by The Sensational Space Shifters – begins September 13 at the Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival in Fredericton, NB, with headlining dates starting September 17 at The Mann Center in Philadelphia, PA with Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats. Headlining and festival dates then continue through September and into October, culminating October 3 at the Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend, OR.

North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) has announced that Constantine Maroulis and Diana DeGarmo will lead the cast of their September production of Broadway's Gothic musical thriller, Jekyll & Hyde. Under the direction of Broadway's original Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde, Robert Cuccioli, JEKYLL & HYDE will play September 25 thru October 7, 2018.
