Taylor Louderman, Jason Gotay and More Join OH SANDY Benefit, Today by BWW

On Today, November 13th at 10PM over a dozen of Broadway's brightest stars will join together in song to benefit the Friends of Marybeth and Cohort 3 helping aid victims of Hurricane Sandy in Staten Island and other affected areas in NYC. Performers will include Corey Cott (Newsies), Will Blum (The Book of Mormon, Grease), Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia), Lora Lee Gayer (Follies), Kara Lindsay (Newsies), Sara Jean Ford (The Phantom of the Opera), Steffanie Leigh (Mary Poppins), Drew Gehling (Jersey Boys, On A Clear Day), Taylor Louderman (Bring It On), Jason Gotay (Bring It On), Robert Lenzi (South Pacific), Tess Soltau (Into the Woods, The Addams Family), Russell Fischer (Jersey Boys), Jenna Leigh Green (Wicked, 'Sabrina, The Teenage Witch'), Jessica Waxman (Pure Country), Stephanie Thorns (Wicked), Lesley McKinnell (Wicked), and Stefanie Brown (Wicked). A 25th anniversary production of the imaginative, fractured-fairy tale musical 'Into the Woods' by James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim will be staged at the theater where Sondheim was an apprentice in 1950, Westport Country Playhouse, in Westport, CT, through May 26. Directed by Mark Lamos, The Playhouse's artistic director, the musical will open the historic theater's 82nd season. It is co-produced with Baltimore's CENTERSTAGE. (more...)

CENTERSTAGE and Westport Country Playhouse announced today casting for their co-production of Into the Woods, and Broadway fans will be excited to hear that the original Little Red Riding Hood, Danielle Ferland, is making her way back Into the Woods. The production is set to run March 7-April 15 at CENTERSTAGE before moving to Westport Country Playhouse in May. Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's beloved fairy tale musical will be directed by Westport Country Playhouse's Artistic Director Mark Lamos. (more...)

The production is set to run March 7-April 15 at CENTERSTAGE before moving to Westport Country Playhouse in May. Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's beloved fairy tale musical will be directed by Westport Country Playhouse's Artistic Director Mark Lamos, who directed A Little Night Music in 2008. (more...)
