Ghostlight Records's recording of that the debut album from composer Ryan Scott Oliver, 35MM: A Musical Exhibition (Original Cast Recording), is available for purchase in stores beginning today. The album will be available in stores on Tuesday, September 11th. (Pre-orders for the recording are now being taken at http://sh-k-boom.com/35mm.shtml.) An album release concert is being planned for mid-September, about which additional details will be announced shortly. Producer John Johnson announced today that 35mm A Musical Exhibition, written by Ryan Scott Oliver based on the photography of Matthew Murphy, has added a new, final performance on Wednesday, March 14 at 8:00 p.m. due to popular demand. The upcoming performance on Monday, March 12 is now completely sold out. 35mm is playing at Brooklyn's Galapagos Art Space (16 Main Street, DUMBO). (more...)

Following a successful 23rd Annual Festival of New Musicals held in NYC Oct. 27-28. The National Alliance for Musical Theatre held a party at Southern Hospitality. This year's Festival attaracted over 650 people representing 300 organizations from around the country including Europe attending the eight new musicals that were presented.
