The world premiere production of THE INVISIBLE by Rebecca Lenkiewicz will be directed by Michael Oakley (The Life and Times of Fanny Hill, Bristol Old Vic; Variation on a Theme, Finborough). The production previews from 3 July (press night 8 July).
'JANE WENHAM' to Launch UK Tour in September

Ria Parry will direct the world premiere of Rebecca Lenkiewicz's play Jane Wenham: The Witch of Walkern for Out of Joint, Watford Palace Theatre and Arcola Theatre. It will tour from September to November 2015, including two weeks of rural touring in association with Eastern Angles, before playing at London's Arcola Theatre in January 2016.

In this taut 2013 theatrical adaptation of Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela's award winning-book, the apartheid regime's most notorious assassin and head of its death squad, Eugene de Kock (played by Matthew Marsh), sits opposite psychologist Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela (played Noma Dumezweni) in Pretoria Central Prison in 1997. Gobodo-Madikizela is a member of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission determined to understand his actions. She questions de Kock, who is sentenced to two life terms plus 212 years for crimes against humanity, murder, conspiracy to murder, attempted murder, assault, kidnapping, illegal possession of firearms, and fraud.

The world premiere of F*CK THE POLAR BEARS by Tanya Ronder, and the European premiere of FORGET ME NOT by Tom Holloway will follow the previously announced play THE INVISIBLE by Rebecca Lenkiewicz in the Bush Theatre's autumn season. The Bush's acclaimed new writing festival RADAR will also return in November.

Manhattan Theatre Club announces the upcoming Sloan Panel Discussion on Constellations, which will be held following the Thursday, January 15 performance of the play at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street), and is open to anyone attending the evening's performance. The panel, which will be presented in partnership with the World Science Festival, will focus on the role of science in the play and will feature playwright Nick Payne and Brian Greene, professor of Physics and Mathematics at Columbia University and co-founder of the World Science Festival. Social commentator Faith Salie will moderate.

Out of Joint has announced that Iain Gillie is to become the new Chairman of the acclaimed company, as they prepare to present an exciting and diverse brace of world premieres for the new year, under the artistic directorship of Max Stafford-Clark. Vicky Graham, whose recent productions include Breeders at the St. James Theatre, has joined the company as the new in-house producer.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that a stage version of The Exorcist is currently in the works, and Tony nominee Sean Mathias is on board to direct the project. The play, adapted by John Pielmeier, enjoyed a run at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse in 2012, starring Richard Chamberlain and Brooke Shields. Production details have not yet been announced.

A new adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's 'An Enemy of the People' with Alfred Molina, Richard Kind, Mamie Gummer, Glenne Headly, Alan Mandell and Josh Stamberg, will be presented by L.A. Theatre Works. Five performances will be recorded for public radio in front of a live audience, today, April 10-13, 2014.
