Just yesterday, the cast of SPIDER-MAN: Turn Off the Dark got a visit from a second grade class from PS 69. The 26 students, most of whom had never seen a Broadway show before, stuck around after the show to get a photo with stars Jake Epstein and Rebecca Faulkenberry. The 54 Below WBGO Jazz Series will feature weekly Tuesday evening shows by jazz artists curated by the famed veteran Jazz programmer, Todd Barkan. Just around the corner from Swing Street, these seasoned jazz performers come to Broadway's Nightclub to play and sing the night away in grand style. The series is sponsored by the WBGO, the country's premier jazz radio station, promising a truly classic only-in-New York experience.

Former Army Staff Sergeant Clinton L. Romesha was hosted by the USO on February 17th at SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark on Broadway. He was awarded the Medal of Honor on February 11th, 2013 by President Barack Obama. Romesha was recognized during the curtain call and afterwards was greeted back stage by the cast, and you can check out photos from the event below!

SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark is now in its 2nd smash year on Broadway, and has been seen by more than 1 million audience members from around the world. It features music and lyrics by 22-time Grammy® Award-winners Bono and The Edge, direction by Philip William McKinley (The Boy From Oz), and a book co-written by Julie Taymor, Glen Berger(Underneath The Lintel) and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Fantastic Four and Spider-Man comics, "Big Love"). The X Factor's pint-sized powerhouse Carly Rose Sonenclar made the leap to the $5 million singing competition this fall with her audition to Nina Simone's 'Feeling Good,' which has skyrocketed to over 15 million views on YouTube in just over a month.

Joey Calveri, who will be starring as Stacee Jaxx in Rock of Ages on Broadway starting in December, and his band, The Machine Elves, will headline the Hate the Hate Benefit Concert: Broadway Edition at The Highline Ballroom Sunday, November 25th at 7:30pm.
