Sherie Rene Scott returns to 54 Below for the highly-anticipated reprise of her acclaimed show 'Piece Of Meat' for a limited two-week engagement. 'Piece Of Meat' is an exhilarating evening about human desires - carnal, culinary and otherwise. Ms. Scott explores her singular storytelling and musical abilities with songs by Joni Mitchell, Paul McCartney, Talking Heads, Pete Townshend, Annie Lennox, Dire Straits, Buddy Holly, Kate Bush and Noah & The Whale, along with original compositions by music directorTodd Almond. Soundtrack for Disney-Pixar's MONSTERS UNIVERSITY to be Released 6/18

Disney-Pixar's “Monsters University” rocks theaters this summer featuring music from award-winning composer Randy Newman and Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia. Filmmakers also tapped the Atlanta-based hard rock band Mastodon to serenade one the film's new monsters. Directed by Dan Scanlon and produced by Kori Rae, “Monsters University” hits theaters June 21, 2013, with the short film “The Blue Umbrella,” which features music by composer Jon Brion and vocals by Sarah Jaffe. Cleveland Orchestra Public Square Concert Set for 7/1

The Cleveland Orchestra, under the direction of William Eddins, will perform The Star-Spangled Spectacular brought to you by Cuyahoga Arts & Culture, its 24th annual free community concert in downtown Cleveland, on Monday, July 1, on Public Square. Loyola Ballet Celebrates Centennial, National Dance Week

The Loyola Ballet, directed by Laura Zambrano, celebrates National Dance Week with a mixed repertory program of classical, contemporary and character works including several dances to popular music from the early 1900s in celebration of Loyola's centennial. The performances Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27 are set for 8 p.m. in the Louis J. Roussel Performance Hall, located in the Communications/Music Complex on Loyola University New Orleans' main campus. (more...)
