Hart House Theatre, the University of Toronto's Performing Arts Leader Since 1919, has announced its 2012/2013 season. This season's line-up is a diverse mix of classical and contemporary work as Hart House Theatre presents the first major success of a prolific playwright, a controversial one-woman show that has stirred passions across the globe, the Bard's greatest love story, an original musical co-written by our own artistic director and a critically acclaimed play that has opened the hearts and minds of audiences since its first staging. Second Thought Theatre continues its ninth season with My Name is Rachel Corrie, a play based on the diaries and emails of Rachel Corrie, adapted by Alan Rickman and Katherine Viner. My Name is Rachel Corrie will open on Saturday, March 16, the tenth anniversary of Corrie's death in the conflict-ravaged Gaza Strip. (more...)

piece by piece productions, Rising Phoenix Repertory, and The Barrow Group have announced that All The Rage, written and performed by Martin Moran, and directed by Seth Barrish, will begin performances today, January 19, at 7pm at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater, 416 West 42 Street, between Ninth and Tenth Avenues.
