Jay Som - a.k.a. Melina Duterte - recently announced her highly anticipated sophomore album Anak Ko, and today she shares the record's second single. Following 'Superbike,' 'Tenderness' is a slow-burning highlight off the forthcoming LP. Duterte calls it 'a feel-good, funky, kind of sexy song' in part about 'the curse of social media' and how it complicates relationships.

Melina Duterte - announces her sophomore album, Anak Ko, pronounced Ah-nuh Koh, and meaning 'my child' in Filipino.The follow-up to her breakout debut album Everybody Works, which received countless year-end list accolades in 2017, this album was completed during a week-long solo retreat to Joshua Tree. While much has changed both sonically and personally for Jay Som in the two whirlwind years since her debut, Duterte still recorded, produced, engineered and mixed this album herself at home, though this time in her newly adoptive city of Los Angeles.

Francine "The Lucid Dream" hosts this evening of music and burlesque and, in-between champagne breaks, might break out into song & dance. There's no telling whether she'll sing Sinatra or Gaga but she'll do it her way because she was born this way. 

Today, SASAMI has shared a video for 'Morning Comes,' the latest from her critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, out now via Domino. The video was co-directed by Sasami Ashworth and Eric Notarnicola (Nathan For You, Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Who Is America?).

Ten Fé will release their sophomore album next month and embark on a massive tour spanning North America, UK and Europe, and today they share another track off the forthcoming record. “Here Again” is a hymn to the idea that all good things take time to materialize, a central theme of Future Perfect, Present Tense. Influenced by the dark pop of The Cure, and the directness of R.E.M, the band explain of the new song: “it's been a bit of a mantra for us since we started, and certainly around the recording of this album, that nothing of value is easy to achieve. So it's all about having faith that everything's gonna turn out alright in the end. That's what the new record is all about.” The band continue, “It's wistful, but upbeat and playful, lamenting the passing of time, but embracing change and growing older, reinvigorated for the future and all that's yet to come.' Ten Fé will release their incredible sophomore record Future Perfect, Present Tense on March 8th via Some Kinda Love/PIAS, and today they share another track from the album “Coasting.” The band say the song is a “celebration of new love.” They explain: “it's a simple statement - 'when I'm with you, I don't need anything or anyone else. This feels easy, it feels like a fresh start: I'm coasting'. Musically we kept it really simple too to reflect the sentiment. Voting for the BroadwayWorld Cabaret Awards is open! The BWW Cabaret Awards honor exemplary performers and productions in New York from November 1, 2017 to October 31, 2018. Nominees in all categories excluding Special Event - Solo and Special Event - Multiple needed to have performed all or the majority of their shows (at least two of three shows) during this eligibility period.

Sail away to a fantasy land of showgirls right in the middle of landlocked "Ridgewick", Brooklyn! The Starliner is a treasure ship on Myrtle Avenue and, while it's not a real boat, you'll feel like you're on a 1950s cruise ship, complete with showgirl entertainment. Francine "The Lucid Dream" and her cast of burlesque dancers will take over the "upper deck", where passengers can reserve luxurious red booths.
