Fox to Livestream AMERICAN IDOL Finale Red Carpet Tomorrow

AMERICAN IDOL is offering fans an all-access, online VIP pass to the star-studded red carpet action prior to the Season 12 Finale on the AMERICAN IDOL - Finale LIVE Pre-Show. The 90-minute live stream, available at www.americanidol.com and www.livestream.com, will originate from the red carpet at the Nokia Theater L.A. PBS and Capital Concerts announced the broadcast of the NATIONAL SALUTE TO VETERANS, airing on PBS tonight, November 11, 2012, at 8:00 p.m. ET, in honor of the service and sacrifice of our 22 million American veterans. Hosted by acclaimed actors Joe Mantegna ("Criminal Minds") and Gary Sinise ("CSI: New York"), the national television event celebrates the American heroes who have served throughout our country's history. IL Volo will release a Christmas EP on November 21, in a repackaged version of the IL Volo album internationally, and as a digital EP in the U.S. Recorded in July with producers Humberto Gatica and Tony Renis, the EP will feature the group's renditions of holiday classics 'Silent Night,' 'Panis Angelicus,' 'The Christmas Song' with 'American Idol' contestant Pia Toscano, and a medley of 'Jingle Bell Rock,' 'Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow' and 'It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.' In a shocking elimination on last season of AMERICAN IDOL, front-runner Pia Toscano was eliminated from the show. Toscano's fans will get their wish, however: the singer has signed a recording contract with Interscope Records, according to The Hollywood Reporter. In just one week America will have crowned its next Idol. Months of Ford music videos, cheesy group mash-ups, slow country ballads, and Steven Tyler high notes have all lead to this moment, and though the final three contestants wowed me in last night's semi-finals, I'm not sure that Scotty, Lauren, and Haley are the finalists I would have predicted a few months ago- maybe not even a few weeks ago...
