Four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein was featured today, Wednesday, March 16 on 'The Today Show' during the 10:00-11:00 AM hour. Fierstein won a 1984 Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical for the original production of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES. Now, 28 years later, he is starring as Albin in the Tony Award-winning revival of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street). In the New York area, 'Today' airs on WNBC Channel 4. Check local listings.

Christopher Sieber Moves Up LA CAGE Debut to 3/11!

Two-time Tony Award-nominee Christopher Sieber (Monty Python's Spamalot, Shrek The Musical) will begin performances as Georges in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES earlier than previously announced. Sieber will begin performances in the Tony Award-winning musical revival this Friday, March 11, instead of Tuesday, March 15. Sieber stars sopposite four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein as Albin. LA CAGE AUX FOLLES is playing at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street).

It's just been announced that Wilson Jermaine Heredia, who famously created the drag queen role of Angel in the 1996 Off Broadway production of RENT before winning a Tony for the same role on Broadway will join LA CAGE AUX FOLLES on Broadway on February 15th. Heredia will replace Robin de Jesus in the part, and joins the production at the same time as new stars Harvey Fierstein and Jeffrey Tambor.

Six-time Emmy Award nominee Jeffrey Tambor ('Arrested Development,' 'The Larry Sanders Show') will make his Broadway musical debut as Georges opposite four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein as Albin in the Tony Award-winning revival of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES. Tambor and Fierstein will begin performances on Tuesday, February 15 at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street).
