Marc Ribot’s Ceramic Dog – the visionary post-fusion rock trio comprising guitarist/songwriter/activist Marc Ribot, bassist Shahzad Ismaily, and drummer/percussionist Ches Smith – have announced plans for a West Coast co-headline tour alongside groundbreaking jazz quartet The Bad Plus.

Connection sees Ceramic Dog fully entrenched in their signature approach to improvised music, augmented by contributions by such special guests as singer-songwriter Syd Straw, keyboardist Anthony Coleman, saxophonist James Brandon Lewis, organist Greg Lewis, clarinetist Oscar Noriega, and cellist Peter Sachon.

New York Composers Circle, celebrating its 20th Anniversary season, will present Moments Sweep Past, a concert of new music on Thursday, December 15 at 7:00 PM at Church of the Transfiguration ('Little Church Around the Corner'), 1 East 29th Street in Manhattan.

Matthew Schermerhorn, Andy Rice, and Kara Masciangelo will headline Here Comes the Sun: Singing the Shadows Away on October 1st  & 8th, 2022, at 7:00pm at The Triad Theater.

Almond can currently be seen as “Gideon Wolfe” on HBO Max’s “Gossip Girl” and on Broadway as “Elias Burke” in Conor McPherson and Bob Dylan’s Girl from the North Country.
