Boston Calling Music Festival Announces 2020 Food & Drink Lineup

Boston Calling, headlined by the Foo Fighters (Friday, May 22), Rage Against The Machine (Saturday, May 23) and the Red Hot Chili Peppers (Sunday, May 24), announced today a food & drink lineup for the 2020 festival that can be rivaled only by its musical counterparts. With such a wide variety of options to choose from that will offer festival attendees a taste of Boston's culinary diversity, there is something to satisfy all kinds of cravings.  Festival-goers will be treated to a one-of-a-kind experience celebrating the best of Boston's hometown food and drink scene as this year's selection ranges from recently opened ventures to longtime fan-favorites, including veteran Boston Calling vendor Tasty Burger, and new additions like world-renowned beloved pizza masters, Regina Pizzeria, and award-winning Greek restaurant GreCo. Along with the festival's diverse mix of new and returning restaurants, the lineup also includes a wide assortment of drink options to choose from, including craft beers and wines. Boston Calling takes place on Memorial Day Weekend, May 22-24, 2020, at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston (65 North Harvard Street, Boston). Eddie Star Set To Perform A Rockquiem At The Triad Theater

Eddie Star will be performing in the elevated, staged reading of Philip Paul Kelly's new musical 'Rockquiem For A Wrestler,' which will take place at the Triad Theater on May 3, 2020, at 4 pm. The musical inspired by the life of champion wrestler Ivan Koloff features compositions from Star's catalog and songwriter Paul Castrataro (The Portrait of Dorian Gray, Fags & Cellphones, Black Iris).

Boston Calling Announces Single Day Tickets

On the heels of its exciting 2020 lineup announcement, Boston Calling announces the availability and onsale of Single Day tickets for this year's festival, taking place at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston, MA on Memorial Day Weekend, May 22 – May 24, 2020. Single Day tickets are available for purchase beginning TOMORROW Friday, February 7 at 10:00am EST. Tier 1 Single Day General Admission ($149.99), VIP Passes ($349.99), and Platinum Passes ($749.99) will be on sale at www.bostoncalling.com. Availability of  tickets at Tier 1 pricing will be very limited. Once Tier 1 tickets sell out, Tier 2 pricing will go into effect for Single Day General Admission ($159.99), VIP ($399.99), and Platinum ($799.99). Three-Day passes will remain on sale.

Rage Against The Machine Joins Boston Calling Lineup

Adding to the excitement of its previously announced headliners, Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers, Boston Calling rolls out news today that recently reunited rock icons, Rage Against The Machine, will also headline its 2020 festival in what will be the band's only scheduled performance in the New England area this year. Foo Fighters will kick off their headlining Boston Calling performance on Friday, May 22, followed by Rage Against The Machine on Saturday, May 23 and Red Hot Chili Peppers will round out the festival on Sunday, May 24, making an epic weekend of live music. Joining these rock heavyweights and performing across the festival's five stages are over 60 artists in all, including The 1975, Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, Run The Jewels, Brittany Howard, Banks, Liam Gallagher, Noname, Angels & Airwaves, and many more. Last winter, Celebrity Autobiography enjoyed a residency at the Marquis Theatre on Broadway.

The 120 minute tribute celebration begins with Phyllis Hyman's Disco Hit produced by New York's Own James Mtume 'You Know How To Love Me,' to Duke Ellington's "Sophisticated Ladies Medley-Sophisticated Ladies, A Train, It Don't Mean A Thing, In A Sentimental Mood" to her pivotal vocal performance in Brooklyn's own Spike Lee's "School Daze" singing "Be One"  to her recording career beginning with Veteran Producer Norman Connors singing "Betcha By Golly Wow" to  her favorite songs "What You Won't Do For Love," to "Old Friend" a song she would dedicate to her numerous dear friends who died of AIDS in the late 1980's and early 1990's.
