The last time I reviewed the cabaret antics of singing comedians Booth Daniels and Patrick Frankfort, a/k/a Booth & Pat, the description, 'The Smothers Brothers on crystal meth,' entered the picture. In their new gig, Slow Children Playing, which has one more scheduled performance at The Duplex on June 20th, it seems the boys have upped the dosage.

2008 Delta Classic Chastain series performers include Melissa Etheridge, Soul Asylum, The Temptations and The Four Tops, Gipsy Kings, Hootie & the Blowfish and many more (see full lineup below). The latest performer additions to the 35th anniversary lineup are country music superstar Trace Adkins, Tony Award-winning actress, singer and songwriter Idina Menzel, and the 'Kickin' Pickin' Bluegrass Party' featuring Marty Stuart and the Del McCoury Band.

Tony Award-winning Hairspray star Marissa Jaret Winokur joined What the Other Mothers Know co-creators Ilene Graff and Donna Rosenstein, among many other luminaries, for a recent pre-Mothers' Day party at Spago in Beverly Hills.
