Full casting and creative teams were announced today for the Broadway productions of Is This A Room, conceived and directed by Obie Award winner Tina Satter; and Dana H., by Obie Award winner Lucas Hnath and directed by Obie Award winner Les Waters, playing Broadway's Lyceum Theatre on a rotating schedule this fall.

Just because Arizona Theatre Company's (ATC) production of The Legend of George McBride was postponed because of the coronavirus doesn't mean the show can't be seen and experienced.

Vineyard Theatre has announced that starting tomorrow, Friday, March 13  all performances of Dana H. will be suspended through March 31. The theatre will play to 50% capacity April 1 - 12. This is in accordance with guidelines from the CDC and state and local health officials' executive orders.  

The Guthrie Theater has announced the cast and creative team for the playful world premiere of Emma, written by Kate Hamill, based on the novel by Jane Austen and directed by Meredith McDonough. In this Guthrie-commissioned work, Hamill's fun and creative adaptation of Austen's social commentary on British life is a fresh take on the beloved classic.

Vineyard Theatre Artistic Directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern announce that New York Times Critic's Pick, Dana H., by Lucas Hnath, adapted from interviews with Dana Higginbotham conducted by Steve Cosson, and directed by Les Waters, has extended for the second time and will now play at the Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th St.) through Saturday, April 11. The production, which stars Deirdre O'Connell in the title role, made its New York premiere on Tuesday, February 25.

Victory Gardens Theater continues its 45th season with the Co-World Premiere of How to Defend Yourself by Liliana Padilla and directed by Marti Lyons. A Co-World Premiere with Actors Theatre of Louisville, How to Defend Yourself runs January 24 - February 23, 2020, with press performance on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 7:30pm at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Two River Theater (TRT) has launched its 2019/20 Season with a production that is sure to please. 'Cyrano' by Jason O'Connell and Brenda Withers is adapted from the 1897 play Cyrano de Bergerac written by Edmond Rostand. The TRT show is directed by Meredith McDonough and presented as a co-production with the critically acclaimed Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival based in Garrison, New York.

Two River Theater (Artistic Director John Dias, Managing Director Michael Hurst) presents Cyrano by Jason O'Connell and Brenda Withers, adapted from the play Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand, directed by Meredith McDonough in a co-production with Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. Cyrano opens to the press on Friday, September 27 at 7pm and continues through Sunday, October 13 in Two River's Rechnitz Theater, 21 Bridge Avenue, Red Bank, NJ.
